Champion: Trophies + P10,000 Prize Value (P4K Cash + P6K Kimoni Products)
1st Runner-up: Trophies + P3,500 Prize Value (P1K Cash + P2.5K Kimoni Products)
Eligibility:
- Participation is open to all players with good standing with the organizing committee.
- Players must not be a member or former member of the National Team (player, coach, training pool).
- Players must not be a current or former collegiate varsity badminton player.
- Juniors : must be born in the year 1988 or later (GD, BD, XD)
- Seniors : must be born in the year 1987 or earlier (WD, MD, XD); (Advanced, Intermediate, Novice); (Division I to
III)
Deadline of Entries:
All entries must be made on the attached Entry Form and sent via mail or fax to the address below not later
than November 9, 2007 (Friday). Payments may be given during their scheduled assessment dates.
Players may also submit entries and pay fees during the November 10 and 11 assessment dates. Due to the
limited number of entries available per event, the organizers may reserve the right to refuse additional entries on
those dates.
Players must also indicate individual proficiency in playing badminton:
- Advanced: trainers, advanced club players
- Intermediate: players with average badminton skills
- Novice: players with below average badminton skills
The tournament fee of P750 per person includes t-shirt, shuttlecocks, minimum of 3 matches, lootbag, assessment.

Assessment Dates (Leveling):
November 4, 2007 (Sunday) Smashville, Pasig City
November 10, 2007 (Saturday) Smashville, Pasig City
November 11, 2007 (Sunday) Smashville, Pasig City
All dates will have 2 sessions (9am to 12nn and 1pm to 4pm)
Please indicate assessment date and session on the registration form.
The final list of entries per category-event-class-division (level) will be posted on the website on November 19,
2007 (Monday) at 5:00 PM.
The schedule will be posted on the website on November 21, 2007 (Wednesday) at 5:00 PM.
Events & Format:
The competition is a 2-stage Event consisting with a round robin first stage and a single elimination second
stage for all category-event-class-division.
Scoring for the first stage will be 1 straight to 15, rally point, best of 3 games. Interval at 8 points. NO
advantage of 2 at 14-all. Change ends at 8 points during a final or decision game.
Scoring for the second stage will be 1 to 21, rally point, best of 3 games. Interval at 11 points. Advantage of 2
at 20-all to a maximum of 30 points. Change ends at 11 points during a final or decision game.
In all other matters, Rules and Regulations will be applied in accordance to the BWF for the current year.
Cancellation and Withdrawal:
The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel an event with full refund to the players involved.
Players may also withdraw from the competition on or before November 21, 2007 (Wednesday) 12:00 noon.
They will be refunded half of the tournament fee.
Indemnity & Insurance:
Any participant and its delegated officials (coach, parents, relatives, manager) should agree to indemnity and
hold the organizing committee free and unaccountable for and against any claims for personal injury, death or
property damage, arising out of or in any way resulting from the participation in the said tournament.
Please ensure that you are covered with the necessary insurance policy to meet the current requirements.
